was in 1907 that the Jacuzzi family left the little town of
Valvasone in the Friuli region of Italy and settled across the
Atlantic in California US. The seven Jacuzzi brothers brought
with them that creative flair universally attributed to Italians
of every generation, as well as a genuine passion for things
mechanical. In 1968 Roy Jacuzzi æ now president and CEO
of Jacuzzi Inc. æ came into the company as manager of
the Research Division and, foreseeing the genuine market potential
generated by a new hedonism in society, designed the first whirlpool
tub for home use: the Roman Bath. Some years later came the
boom. One after another, the superb whirlpool baths of the Jacuzzi
collection began to appear, each one original in shape, dimensions
and size, and thereafter the minipools and multifunction showers.
Today, with more than 250 patents to its name, Jacuzzi is the
undisputed leader in the sector, acknowledged as the source
of authentic whirlpool technology, a maker of products that
are both innovative and always equal to the expectations of
