TRAINING COURSES The following courses are organised for the managers and collaborators of the associated companies on an annual basis: • banking, currency and customs techniques • import-export regulations • languages

LEGAL CONSULTATION An attorney is available at the Consortium on a regular basis for assistance with: • drafting international contracts • establishing mixed companies or joint ventures • debt collections • know-how transfer • registering trademarks and patents • legislative and commercial information for foreign countries

TRADE FAIRS AND SHOWS Consortium personnel provide for obtaining the space, setting up the stand, arranging travel, hotel reservations, interpreter’s services and sending invitations to customers

MARKET RESEARCH Market research is conducted to expand options for entering new markets, both for selling products as well as more in-depth technological collaborations. The information collected is made available to all the associated companies

SEARCHING FOR INTERNATIONAL PARTNERS Upon request, the Consortium performs personalised searches for commercial partners (importers, agents, representatives, etc.) based on its member’s specific needs

FINANCING Information about lines of credit is provided for individual foreign markets. Pordenone Export is able to offer the associated companies consultation on the principal regional, national and European financing tools available to support the internationalisation of SME’s

TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION Consortium personnel and outside collaborators perform translations of commercial letters and technical specifications in all languages

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER Each consortium member is sent a newsletter containing useful information regarding: • consortium activities • scheduled trade shows • important developments in international regulations • any other initiative of interest

COMMERCIAL INFORMATION Special conventions allow members to make use of commercial information services at reduced cost regarding any Italian or foreign company, as well as checking on any possible protests

MISSIONS The participation of consortium members or representatives on mission or trips allows direct contact with the realities of the various markets and facilitates the collection of useful information for adapting production to the needs of the various markets

MEETINGS WITH DELEGATIONS AND FOREIGN BUSINESSMEN During the year, in co-operation with the Consortium, economic delegations and foreign businessmen visit member companies to discuss and negotiate business proposals or agency representation agreements

ADVERTISING The Consortium catalogue, published in several languages, along with the attached CD-ROM is distributed to interested business people, agencies and commercial offices abroad. Specific advertising is also scheduled during trade shows and other promotional events

MERCHANDISE REQUESTS The Consortium constantly receives lists of foreign requests for Italian goods. After an initial verification, the member receives the requests that regard their specific product.

EXPRESS COURIER Thanks to conventions entered into directly with the Consortium, member companies can make use of an international express courier service for shipments of documents and small packages within Italy and abroad under particularly favourable conditions
